The apartment was purchased in August 2007, and fully redecorated with all of the "white goods" also being replaced over time. Since then there have been some major refurbishments, including full air-conditioning, with virtually nothing remaining from 2007.
Fañabe is the classier part of Tenerife, while remaining a short walk to most facilities. It is served by the local bus service and also has a medical centre nearby.
It is sometimes hard to believe Fañabe is only a few miles from "Veronicas" as the two areas bear little resemblance to each other. While Veronicas, and Las Americas in general attract the "lager brigade", Fañabe in contrast is much more upmarket, and peaceful in nature. It has plenty of bars & restaurants etc. but caters more to a more family orientated holiday visitor.
